Day 01     (Kochi)

KochiArrival Kochi Airport by any convenient Flight from Home. You are picked up from the Airport or from any location in Cochin by the representative of Halo Backwaters for your journey in Kerala. Till recently, Kochi was Cochin, and only half as frenetic. It was a lagoon that made Kochi as cherished destination as far back as the early 16th century and it is the same lagoon that makes Kochi one of the nation's busiest port now.

After lunch in the hotel proceed for the sightseeing in and around Kochi. The most important heritage sightseeing is in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. You will need a couple of hours of leisurly walks to take in this heritage quarter. The heritage quarter are includes Santa Cruz Basilica, Princess Street, St.Francis, Dutch Cemetery, Jew Street, Pardesi Synagogue and Chinese Fishing net.Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 02     (Kochi - Periyar)

Periyar,ThekkadyGet ready after breakfast for your morning drive to Thekkady (Periyar) nestled in spice and rubber plantations. Known to be Kerala's pride and testimony to nature's splendor, Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife. Periyar is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Check in to your resort and get ready for your trip to cardamom hills where you could have a closer look at the spice plantations.

The visit is done in a boat to view animals with a bit of extra luck we may be able to see the rare tiger as well. A boat ride on the lake is a delightful way of spotting elephants and avifauna. If you are forunate, you might even spot the pride of the sanctuary, the tiger. Although tiger sightings are not very common, there are enough of these magnificent felines around (Boat ride is depend upon the availability of the cruise (Cost of this tour is Extra)).

Later on proceed to visit the Elephant Junction or Elephant Camp. This is a unique experience, seated atop an elephant; guests are taken along trails into the depths of the cardamom, pepper, coffee and tea plantation. The ride can be a miss of moments of pure terror interspersed with long perid of utter peace. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 03     (Periyar - Madurai)

MaduraiAfter breakfast drive to Madurai.After a short relaxation at your hotel drive to Madurai Meenakshi Temple, one of the largest temple complex in India built between the 16th and 18th centuries. Apart from the estimated 33 million sculptures there, the temple is absolutely absorbing with the endless rounds of ceremonies, prostration of countless devotees and glittering market stalls, later visit Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight at Madurai.

Day 04     (Madurai - Munnar)

Get ready after breakfast for your morning drive to Munnar, where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. On the way visiting Cheyyappara Waterfalls, viewpoints etc. Check in to your resort and get ready for the special trip to Pothamedu for an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The breath taking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks. Return to your resort in the evening.

Day 05     (Munnar)

MunnarThis morning after breakfast, visit Mattupetty famous for its highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-Swiss live stock project. Proceed to Mattupetty lake and dam, which is a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and view mountains and landscapes from afar. Onwards proceed to Echo point famous for the natural echo phenomenon and then to Top Station offering marvelous views of Munnar valley below.

Say hello to the Nilgiri Tahr.Half the world population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr lives in the Eravikulam National Park at Munnar.Friendly as they are, you can pat them or pose for pictures with them. So meet them and have plenty to brag about back home.Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 06     (Munnar -  Kumarakom)

Kumarakom Houseboat CruiseAfter breakfast drive to Kumarakom and check into the hotel.Kumarakom is a sleepy little village tucked away from the din and bustle of city life. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is an Ornithologist's paradise and a favorite haunt of migrating birds like Siberian stork,darter,heron and teal to name a few.

Check into the houseboat at 12 noon for 1 Night / 2 Days riding in the backwaters & small canals.

A glide in a houseboat through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. Palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expense of panoramic sight one can never forgetting less than 15 minutes, the low hum of the motor and the dazzling afternoon light have tuned out the noises in your head, the deadlines, the telephone, the unfinished chapters. Watch the white tire-tread clouds turn into wisps of animal fur and then disappear. The isolation on a luxury houseboat is total. Overnight stay in a houseboat.

Pick up from Alleppey Finishing Point Jetty at 1200 hours. Cruise through Azhikkal Canal , Kuppappuram, Pallathuruthy, Kainakary Church canal, Venattukadu Canal , Cherukayal, C-Blcock, Marthandam, R-Block and reach E-Block Tharishu for the night stay.Overnight stay in the houseboat

Day 07     (Alappuzha)

AlappuzhaAfter breakfast,you will be check-out in Alappuzha from the house boat and transferred to the hotel. Alappuzha is a unique backwater destination situated on the banks of the Vembanad Lake is considered as gateway to the backwater of Kuttanad, the granary of Kerala.

After lunch and a short relaxation,proceed to visit Coir Museum,Alappuzha Beach and Mullakkal Bhagawathy temple is situated in the town of Alappuzha.Overnight stay at Alappuzha.

Day 08     (Alappuzha - Guruvayoor)

GuruvayurVisit the Guruvayoor temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and considered to be the Dwaraka of the South. Guruvayoor, known as Kasi of the South is famous for the Sree Krishna temple, which has Guruvayoorappan or the infant Krishna, as the deity. Legend has it that the temple is the creation of Guru, the preceptor of the Gods and Vayu, the God of winds. The most famous offering of the temple is Thulabharam, where a devotee presents to the deity his own body weight against products like bananas, rice etc. Arrive Periyar and check in at hotel.

Visit the Punnathur Kotta Elephant Camp, 4km north of town.51 elephants, aged from 6 to 93,live here, munching for most of the day on specially imported piles of fodder and cared for by their three personal mahouts, who wash and scrub them several times a week in the sanctuary pond. Overnight at Guruvayur.

Day 09     (Guruvayoor - Wayanad)

After breakfast proceed to Kalpetta.On the way to Wayanad visit the Chain Tree at Lakkidi.On arriving atKalpetta transfer to the hotel fora short relaxation.

Afterlunch proceed to visit the Sentinal Rock Fall, locally known as Suchipara.Suchipara waterfalls are really a treasure of nature. Suchipara is a three tiered powerful waterfall. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 10     (Wayanad)

WayanadAfter the Morning Break fast, 09.00 AM set out for a sightseeing trip to Wayanad Heritage Museum. Located in the town of Ambalavayal,this museum is home to and interesting collection of artifacts that shed light on the history, culture and heritage of the Wayanad region. These include headgear,weapons,pottery and various objects associated with tribal life.A series of pictorial rock edicts referred to as Hero Stones,memorialise a bygone age of valiant warriors.

After lunch proceed to visit the Jain Temple.This temple is one of the most important amongst a series of ruins spread across the state of Kerala that testify to a period of a strong Jain presence in this region.Later on take an interesting trek up to Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal town takes you to the fascinating Neolithic cave site of Edakkal.Etchings found on the walls of these caves have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide.Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 11     (Wayanad - Ooty)

Early morning travel by road to Ooty. Ooty, the Scotland of the East, is one of the most popular holiday destinations in South India. Go discover an Ooty that veils herself in season. Ooty has plenty of attractions, both on and off the beaten path. The Botanical Garden are well laid out with avenues of shady trees and myriad ornamental plants and flowers. But the main attraction here is the fossilized tree trunk all of 20 million years old. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 12     (Ooty)

OotyMove through the tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Lush green hills all around - a place difficult to describe. The Rose Garden, atop a hill off Etiennes Road, is all of 10 acres. In winter, when the 1919 varieties of roses of all hues are out, a stroll in this scented garden is an unforgettable experience.

John Sullivan, the first Collector and virtual founder of Ooty, constructed 2 km long artificial lake in 1824.There is a charming lake garden, a jetty, snack bars and pony and toy train rides on offer for the kiddies. Other attractions areDoddabetta Peakand St, Stephens Church.Doddabetta Peak is the highest in Tamil Nadu.Lies at the juction of Western & Eastern Ghats at 2633 M above sea level.Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 13     (Ooty - Mysore)

MysoreAfter breakfast checkout the guest house and drive to Mysore.A centre of sandalwood carving, silk and incense production, 159 Km southwest of Bangalore, Mysore, the erstwhile capital of the Wadiyar Rajas, is one of South India's most -visited places. Mysore is a charming, old fashioned and undaunting town, dominated by the spectacular Maharaja's Palace.

Upon arrival at Mysore,check into the hotel.A aftera shortrelaxation, we will visit Maharaja's Palace. Designed in the hybrid Indo-Saracenic style by Henry Irwin, the British consultant architect of Madras state.

By evening proceed to visit the Brindavan Garden. Overnight at Mysore.

Day 14     (Mysore Bangalore (Bengaluru))

BengaluruAfter breakfast,check out and drive to Bangalore (Bengaluru).Later enjoy sightseeing of Bangalore city visiting Vidhan Soudha, Lalbagh Botanical garden, Tipu Sultans palace and Bull temple one of the oldest temple built in 16th century. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Bengaluru.

Day 15     (Bangalore (Bengaluru) Airport)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bangalore (Bengaluru) airport/railway station to catch the flight/train to home. On departure the tour concludes with happy memories. Tour Concludes.

- The company is not responsible for the event of any of the above mentioned sightseeing are not becoming available at a particular date caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances, holidays and maintenance work in the park or museum.

- The company will not be held responsible for any damages or sabotage caused to the property of the customer due to riots, armed dacoities, terrorist activity or any other incidents, events, occurrences etc., if for any reason whatsoever his employee or representative is present at the customer's premises during such happening provided that they have no role in such happenings.

- The company is not liable to provide the vehicle(s) contracted for in case he is unable to do so on account of mob violence, riots, communal violence, strike, agitation, natural calamities, flooding, inundation, water logging, typhoon, cyclone or other obstructions/disturbances etc. adversely affecting, threatening or obstructing safe passage for the vehicle. In such event the contractor will try to provide transport to the maximum extent possible & the may customer may not insist, pressure or coerce the contractor or his driver on such occasions & reluctance, disinclination or refusal on the part of the driver will not be construed to be misconduct, dereliction, disrespect or deficiency in service on the part of the contractor. The driver's judgement is such cases to be accepted by all parties.

Reservation Policy :

- Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 25% of the total tour cost in advance and balance to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to protect all arrangements on definite arrival basis.

Cancellation & Refunds :

- 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.

- 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.

- Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 75% of the tour cost will be levied.

- Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied.

- No refund is entitled for no shows.
